The Mysterious Abyss

By Karmen Hardy

The Mariana Trench remains one of the least explored places on the planet. Pressure levels are crushing, yet even here, life persists in small, specialized forms.

High Pressure Life

Creatures at these depths have unique adaptations to survive the immense pressure, often lacking rigid structures or air pockets.

Colorful Reefs

By Karmen Hardy

Coral reefs are the rainforests of the sea. They support an incredible diversity of life, from the smallest cleaner shrimp to the largest reef sharks.

Ecosystem Health

The richness of a reef is a direct indicator of its health. Protecting these fragile structures is crucial for marine biodiversity and coastal protection.

Deep Sea Wonders

By Karmen Hardy

The deep sea holds some of the most alien-looking creatures on Earth. From glowing jellyfish to massive squids, the bioluminescent dance in the dark is a sight to behold.

The Midnight Zone

At depths where sunlight never reaches, life finds a way to thrive. Many creatures produce their own light for communication, camouflage, and attracting prey.

Hello World: My First Scribere Post

By Karmen Hardy

Welcome to my newly launched blog. This is the first post I've written since setting up the Scribere engine and the automated GitHub Pages deployment!

The setup was smooth, and now I can write posts in plain Markdown and have them live in minutes.

Project Goals

I plan to write more about my projects and personal thoughts. More updates will follow in the coming weeks.

How the Folder Layout Works

By Example Author

Each article lives in a dated directory with a two-digit ordinal. The folder name becomes the public URL, so the path defines the page identity and keeps ordering clear across the archive.

Templates live beside your content under content/, and assets and queries sit in the same instance folder. The build reads only from that instance directory, which lets you pull engine updates without touching your site design. When you make your own blog, run the setup script to copy /example/ into /content/, then replace the posts.

Welcome to Scribere

By Example Author

This example site ships with the Scribere engine so you can run the build and view a real page immediately, without any extra setup. Use it as a working reference, then replace these posts with your own writing when you are ready.

The system keeps content in dated folders and builds static pages from plain Markdown, which keeps the archive legible as it grows. If you remove these example posts but keep the same folder structure, the site will still build correctly and the templates will continue to work.
